we decided to meet at my house instead so shong came from work and richboy jessie cabbed from his house in novena. jessie had never been in my house before! he's sent me home loads of times and my parents him pretty well but he's never stepped inside, so weird! i wasnt a very good host coz there were no drinks (shong drank milo), only one xbox controller, nth to watch except ice age 2 which was watched with lousy subtitles and a really low volume since brandon was having tuition. but it was really great seeing jessie and shong after so long, and they like each other! :) such a sense of satisfaction.

after that jessie went to meet his friend at bayshore. being the egotistical dong he is, he refused to let my mum give him a lift, then got lost and cabbed again. shong and i went to bugis for class outing where instead of steamboat we ate at some japanese place. i was pretty sceptical about japanese pasta but gosh it was really good! we walked around and had desert at this chinese-y but somehow damn popular place in liang seah street called ah chew's smth. we used to joke about the ah chew hotel there, thinking it must be a really cmi place if it was named after ah chew. we didnt know ah chew was really a famous guy! the mango pomelo sago was heavenly, nice big chunks of sweet mango, so the wait was totally worth it.

another highlight was that shong and i decided to wear heels. i havent worn heels very much in the past one and a half years and when i do they're really short so 2.5 inches was already such an achievement for me. it was actually nice! being not-so-short and talking to shong on almost the same level and bending down to give hugs for a change. i'm sure i'll get used to the uncomfortableness so for the moment, its heel-shopping time!

shong and i also got married, with LL necklaces. we had a ring bearer marcus and photographer mervin who took a picture of us with "bridal concept" in the background. they were so disturbed. anyway it was great to see everyone and catch up and hear the ns boys talk about nothing else but ns and and just hang out as a class again.
